Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in Modern and Contemporary Art

Description
The Department of Visual Arts at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position in Art History for the 2025-2026 academic year. This role will be responsible for teaching four courses in-person at Holy Cross, two in the fall semester (Introduction to Visual Arts and Contemporary Art 1945 to the present), and two in the spring semester (Introduction to Visual Arts, and Art in the Modern World, a survey of 19th and 20th century European modernism). There may be some flexibility in scheduling times for courses in the spring semester, Instruction will begin in August 2025. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
