Simulation Lab Coordinator and Teaching Position

This will be a full-time forty-eight-week appointment with full benefits. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire. The successful candidate will be expected to teach fall, spring and summer semesters with an anticipated start date as early as Fall 2021.

Primary responsibilities will include:

logistical and technical coordination and accountability for a state-of-the-art simulation lab and simulation instruction across the curriculum

coordination and instruction in nursing courses (pediatrics and adult-medical surgical are priorities); including both classroom and clinical teaching.

In addition to simulation and teaching, responsibilities include:

advising students

participating in committees; in particular the CON simulation committee

other service and scholarly activities as appropriate.

The position will be filled at the Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor rank based upon the credentials of the successful candidate. The candidate must possess a terminal degree; show evidence of professional growth, scholarship, and mastery of subject matter; hold a valid nursing license; have current / recent clinical practice experience and be eligible for RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
