The Fetterman School of Nursing at Toccoa Falls College invites applicants for a full-time nursing faculty position in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This dynamic individual should possess a passion for growing the next generation of nurses. The start date for the position is August 1, 2023. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Teaching responsibilities may include content from the across the nursing curriculum with a focus on Pathophysiology and Pharmacology,

TASKS:

  • Promote teaching-learning practices and environments (classroom, clinical setting, skills/simulation lab) that support the achievement of course objectives and expected student outcomes.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and others in developing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing curriculum to meet relevant learning outcomes.

  • Prepare course syllabi, exams, audiovisual materials, and other teaching learning activities that facilitate student learning experiences.

  • Participate in assessment and evaluation of course objectives, goals, and student outcomes as required by the College, Georgia Board of Nursing, and The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.



  • Participate in academic advising and counseling of pre-nursing and nursing students consistent with current School of Nursing requirements and Christian values.



  • Demonstrate achievement of faculty outcomes which contribute to the attainment of the College and School of Nursing's mission and goals.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

A Master of Science in Nursing and an active, unencumbered Georgia registered nursing license are required. Must have at least five years of experience in the nursing profession. An earned doctorate and prior teaching experience are preferred.
