Job Description:
Castleton University, Department of Nursing, invites applications for one full-time, Tenure-Track Professor, rank of Assistant or Associate dependent upon previous teaching experience. We seek candidates with general medical-surgical nursing expertise, with experience working acute or chronic care populations. Preference will be given to those with previous classroom, distance/on-line and/or clinical teaching experience. The successful candidate would start in August 2021.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include a M.S. in nursing, doctorate (DNP/Ph.D.) in nursing preferred by the time of appointment. Teaching load will average 24 semester credit hours or their equivalent per academic year. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence and innovation in undergraduate teaching, to ongoing professional development, and to working closely with BSN students in a small university environment. Committee service and academic advising also are expected.
