Adjunct Faculty

(San Diego, California campus)

Our priority needs are for part-time adjunct clinical faculty to accompany students in the obstetrics/mother/baby, psych/mental health, geriatric and medical/surgical clinical rotations.

Requirements for the positions are:

Residency in the greater San Diego area
Unrestricted California RN and/or APRN license
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
Current nursing experience (one full year of clinical experience within the last five years)
The ability to create and maintain an environment that emphasizes learning and encourages free discussion of ideas and critical thinking.

Preferred qualifications include:

Graduate degree in Nursing (Master of Science in Nursing or higher)
1 year precepting or teaching experience with nursing students
